So, Dr. P wants to see me every Friday until my second trimester or until my Tricare approval runs out. So that'll put me at the middle of November, even though my second trimester doesn't start until the week of Thanksgiving. Rob wasn't with me for my last 2 ultrasounds so he decided that he didn't want to miss anymore. He came in with me and stood right behind the tech while she was was poking around in there. He said he was worried at first because he didn't see the baby, but then she showed up and he was relieved!
She turned up the volume to get the heartbeat, but our little peanut was jumpy and she had to chase her in order to catch it. Her heart's beating at about 165 BPM, and Rob said that listening to the heartbeat made it more real and he's in love with the baby already. She has his big head too!
